The next ruler of the market is Honda, Isuzu, and Mazda with their respective market share of 5.3 percent, 3.3 percent and 1 percent. While other brands controlled 8.3 percent.

Meanwhile, Mazda's sales increase was highest (52 percent), Nissan (50 percent), Suzuki (33 percent), Mitsubishi (26 percent), Isuzu (20 percent), Daihatsu (17 percent), and Toyota (11 percent). While Honda have declined by 33 percent.

PT Astra International Tbk, the majority of auto supply companies in Indonesia, this December predict the market will return to normal after a constrained supply from Thailand. "Going back to 70 thousand units," said Prijono Sugiarto, President Director of Astra International, in Jakarta.

He predicts this year sales of four wheel drive vehicles can reach 880,000 units. While the Joint Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) predicts slightly lower, 860 thousand units.

Another Astra Group, Daihatsu, suffered a decline in sales from 13,065 units to 9900 units. While Honda, dropped from 4024 units to 2907 units. Meanwhile, Mitsubishi sales rose from 11,495 units to 13,532 units. The cut of the 9271 Suzuki sales units to 8732 units.
