The annual event Djarum Super Jakarta International Blues Festival 2011 will be held for the fourth time on December 17, 2011 in Senayan, Jakarta.

This year, the international class event in Southeast Asia is taking the theme of 'keepin the Blues Alive: In Blues We Trust', and only held for one day only. The plan will be opened by the Governor of Jakarta, Fauzi Wibowo.

"This is the fourth time on hold. It's one of the top events held by the Indonesian Blues Association. The goal we want to remind people that the blues is the roots of contemporary music," said Frans S Sunito, Vice Chairman of the Committee of Jakarta International Blues Festival 2011, during a press conference at Plaza Senayan, Jakarta (06/12/2011).

Musicians involved will be combined from within and abroad. Present British blues legend John Mayall. Also presented Kara Grainger (Australia), Shun Kikuta (Japan), Kim Mok Kyung (South Korea), Soulmate (India), and Bopomofo (Taiwan).

Famous musicians from Indonesia to attend Gugun Blues Shelter, Sandhy Sondoro & Friends, Abdee 'Slank' & Friends, Endah n Rhesa, Andre Harihandoyo and Sonic People, Adrian Adioetomo, Balawan & Friends, Ladies in a Blues Band, Inablues All Star, Blackout , SNR Band, Ore., Ginda and White Flowers, Triassic Acustica, Krishna & The Alter Ego and D'Bluesbusters.

Different from the event this year is divided into five stage. Blue Stage for international and national blues musicians. Red Stage is the main stage for a special show from John Mayall. Black Stage is the stage for new talents and musician who is shining. Green Stage for akustikan, and White Stage badi casual busking musicians.

Regular tickets are sold at a price Rp150ribu. As for watching a special show, tickets will be divided into four classes namely Rp 500ribu VIP, Gold 300 thousand, 200 thousand and Festival Silver 200 thousand.
